Radio phone from Nokia - Nokia 5030 XpressRadio

This is the new Nokia 5030 XpressRadio. It is a music performance focused mobilephone and just as the name suggests, it is a Radio focused phone. It is made to receive Radio Frequencies effectively and efficiently making Radio broadcasts almost un-interruptible and clearly heard… still depends on location but its definitely better than your average Radio device.

Now if you’re a mobilephone entrepreneur or just a mobilephone enthusiast, you’ll easily compare this to a Sony Ericsson R series. The Sony Ericsson R series are also a Radio performance focused mobilephone. There really isn’t much of a difference on the Nokia 5030 XpressRadio and the Sony Ericsson R series. The price range is also very close to compare but I think the Nokia 5030 XpressRadio will have a lot more free mobilephone cashback offers once it is officially released. You can also check for cheap Vodafone line rental contract deals online as they are far more cheaper or rather have more discount than the ones found on the high streets.

Anyway, here’s what the Nokia 5030 XpressRadio has to offer.

Design:

The Nokia 5030 XpressRadio isn't much of looker but its decent enough to bring out on a party. It has a pretty good screen for its use, it has a 1.8 Inch TFT 65k Colour Screen. It displays 128 x 160 pixels resolution.

Messaging:

As a messaging phone, its decent enough to receive SMS messages. You can store up to 250 messages. Don't let it go that many though, it would probably slow down the phone like most of them do.

Entertainment:

For entertainment, you can play games. Although the games are classic, its still is a good past time. They are Beach Rally, Snake Xenzia and the Brain twister Soduku. You can also download games and install them on this phone.

Sound:

As you've already guessed, this is where the Nokia 5030 XpressRadio is about. The 5030 has a Dedicated Radio and Station Selection keys ready for you to press. This is where its name get it, express radio as in easy access radio... not that ground breaking huh? I know.

Anyway, its got a, of course, FM Radio for your entertainment and news source. You can also set it as an Alarm.

Calling:

When calling, the Nokia 5030 XpressRadio is just like any other low end phone. It has Dual Band, not that surprising really. As long as you're inside the UK or USA, signal isn't a problem.

Memory:

Since it doesn't have much features to even make use of a memory space except messages... this phone has a 64MB memory.

Battery:

The Nokia 5030 XpressRadio can last up to 10 hours of talk time. Long lasting, but its expected since its a low end phone after all. Not much energy consumption as it doesn't have much features anywyay except the Radio of course.

Well, that is all about this Nokia 5030 XpressRadio. If you're not into high tech stuff or just want a phone to call and send messages (except Email), then this phone is good for you. It is cheap too! (not surprising)
