Samsung M3200 Beat s - Superb Music Phone

Sony Ericsson has their famous Walkman series and Nokia has their own XpressMusic series, both are renowned to have the best features which assure excellent music experience up to date. Motorola is just mellow however Samsung is taking music capabilities into serious business. They already have the Samsung i450, which is a great music phone by the way, that sells quite well but Samsung is just getting started.

Introducing the Samsung Beat series, these phone are (you guessed it) music feature focused phones. You've probably seen the first one, the Samsung 3510 Beat which is pretty impressive, but what I'm going to show you in this time is the M3200 Beat s. Yes, the “s” part clearly says it's a greater phone. Seriously, it's a more hyped music phone and a great Internet device too. You can check the web for cheap Samsung M3200 Beat s line rental deals but I don't think it will be that abundant as this phone is pretty new. You can check for the best cashback with free gift deals though if want this phone and planning to get a laptop, Nintendo Wii, Playstation 3 or XBOX 360, two devices in one cheap deal. Anyway, let's cut the ads and let's find out what the M3200 Beat s has for us.

Design:

Just like most Samsung phones, it has a slider opening mechanism. The casing looks clean but sleek in many ways. It has a size of 96.5 x 46.9 x 16.9 mm weighs 101 g. It's small for its features packed inside, it also feels solid. The casing looks cool and elegant, the details on the sides and the keypads are ergonomic making it easy for the users to text or just dial a number. The orange details on the phone makes it even more attractive as it easily catches attention. The phone is adorned with a beautiful screens, it is a 2 Inch TFT 240 x 320 pixels resolution, high quality and displays clearly.

Multimedia:
Moving on to what the Samsung M3200 Beat s does best, the multimedia capabilities. The it has an excellent Music Player that outputs great audio. It can play MP3, WMA and AAC. Its versatile so you can add most types of compressed music file found on the Internet. Its got Dedicated Music Keys so you can easily access the Music Player. Very much like that of a Sony Ericsson Walkman phone's SenseMe feature, its got a Mood Tracking that sorts music depending on the “mood”. It's got really nice sound amplified by Bang and Olufsen ICE Power and very loud stereo speakers. It also has a Shake Music Control in which you can pause or play music by tapping on the phone, change tracks by shaking it or mute it by facing it down. The Samsung M3200 Beat s also boasts its AutoEQ feature which automatically changes the equalizer preset according to the type of music. It has 3.5mm Audio Jack and Bluetooth with A2DP support which allows you to plug-in those cool headsets. It has FM Radio in RDS plus FM Radio Recording functionality, you won't miss those favorite FM shows again.

Internet:
Not only is the M3200 Beat s an excellent multimedia player but also a good Internet phone. It has highly advanced technologies that enables high speed data transfers. Browsing is easy as a WAP 2.0 XHTML browser and has GPRS, HSCSD and EDGE, popular technologies that allows super fast Internet connections. Having an EDGE connectivity doesn't need you to have a good signal when browsing the net, it is that great.

Memory:
Another good thing is you can save up to as much as 72 MB of songs or just data files and pictures. If you need more, don't fret as this phone has MicroSD memory card that can go up as much as 8GB!

Battery:
Being a music phone you would need it to be on most of the time and the Samsung M3200 Beat s delivers great usability. It can last for as long as 7 Hours Talk Time or 400 Hours Standby which is really great!

Messaging and Calling:
Well, the Samsung M3200 Beat s certainly doesn't fall out of standard when it comes to calling and messaging. It has a Tri Band network connectivity, certainly is enough to have good calls and keep having good signals, these are GSM 900, GSM 1800 and GSM 1900. It has Voice Dialing and Handsfree Speaker which is great to have especially when you're on the car and need to call someone. And as important as calling, messaging features of the M3200 Beat s doesn't fall below average. It can receive and send SMS (Text Messaging) and MMS (Multimedia Messaging). It also has Predictive Text functionality to help you send messages fast when you really need it. You can also write and send an Email.

Camera:
As for the camera features on the Samsung Beat s, it's not that great but it does the job. It only has 2 Megapixel Camera, nothing to boast about. But even though it has a low megapixel, it can still take good quality pictures and videos.

Sony Ericsson W302 - Music Phone With Better Calling Features

The Sony Ericsson W200i is the cheapest phone available, however it is quite old and outdated (not saying that it isn't good anymore). Well it sure served it's purpose and its still going great but have you ever felt a want to upgrade it? Not necessarily spending for the latest music phone powerhouse but just a phone that is a bit better on Internet and network capability than your original. I can recommend the new Sony Ericsson W302, although it is a bit costly for its features but its worth it. There are various Vodafone cashback offers that are abundantly available online, you can even grab a cheap Sony Ericsson W302 free line rental deals. Think of it like the W200i but only has better Internet and Network connectivity, meaning you can have better calling and browsing experience. Let's take a look at what the Sony Ericsson W302 has to offer.

Design:
Like the W200i, the Sony Ericsson W302 a simple solid bar design, looks sleek and looks refreshing to see a quite new design. It looks simple but certainly doesn't look cheap, it is 100 x 46 x 10.5 mm in size. The casing has a glossy look that doesn't look like plastic at all. The W302 weighs only 78 grams. The W302 has a 256k TFT Color Screen in 176 x 220 pixels resolution, displays clear images and vibrant colors.

Calling:
Like I said earlier, the better part is it's calling capabilities and it certainly excels better than the W200i. It has Quad Band network connectivity, utilizing 4 frequencies. These are GSM 850, GSM 900, GSM 1800 and GSM 1900. This means the phone has good roaming capability allowing you to have great connectivity even in between countries.

Internet and connectivity features:
The W302 is also better in this part. It has EDGE technology which is allows high speed data transfers. With and average download speeds of 70-135 kilobits per second which 3x faster than GPRS, you can really breeze through the net. Open its built-in browser, WAP Browser, to easily access the Internet. The phone has USB and Bluetooth with Stereo A2DP support, with this you can easily plug those headsets on.

Messaging:
When it comes to sending and receiving messages, you can rely on W302. The keypads are easy to press and large enough for anyone's finger to fit in. They are ergonomic and looks cool too. The menus looks simple and easy to navigate. Given the ergonomic keypads, it's really comfortable to send messages. It can do SMS (Text Messaging) and MMS (Multimedia Messaging). It also has a predictive text functionality which is most preferred by busy texters.

Multimedia:
In exchange for the great messaging features, Sony Ericsson made a cut back on multimedia but it's not such a big deal. It has good features that you'll like from a Walkman phone. Well it's a Walkman phone so naturally it has its famous Walkman Music Player. The sound is still as good but it lacks tweaking features but you won't notice it that much as the Player emits great sound quality anyway. You can also watch Video Streaming and since the Internet capability is fast, you'll definitely enjoy watching online videos. The W302 has FM and AM Radio in RDS, a very good feature to passing time. The phone has a typical video player if ever you want to watch your video clips. It also has Embedded Games pre-installed if you want interactive entertainment.

Camera:

As for camera features, the W302 isn't much of a performer. It has an average 2 megapixel quality. It can take an OK quality pictures, better than no-megapixel camera I suppose. It has 2.5x Digital Zoom but unfortunately doesn't have a Flash. If you're an avid blogger you can use its Picture Blogging to easily send pictures to you blog.

Battery and memory:
The Sony Ericsson W302 has a great battery power supply that lasts up to 7 hours of Talk Time or 300 Hours Standby. It has a 20MB memory capacity but it can go up as much as 1GB or more as it has Micro M2 Memory support.
